Can I enquire before I have a research question?+
Yes. Describe your subject area, the framework of the assignment and what interests you. Include the assignment brief, desired length and any literature you have already explored. Within the agreed coaching scope, we can discuss ways to narrow the topic and the decisions you need to make to develop your own question.
Will you decide my research question and method for me?+
We can discuss options, prerequisites and limitations with you. You make the decision and, where necessary, agree it with your university supervisor. A method needs to fit the question, available material and framework of your work. Coaching does not provide formal academic approval.
What should I prepare before enquiring?+
Summarise your topic, subject, current progress, deadline and most important questions. Attach the assignment brief, an outline or a short draft if available. You do not need a completed paper. Describing the specific obstacle helps us agree a useful scope rather than an unnecessarily broad request.
How much does coaching on my research question cost?+
Coaching on your research question costs €50, including 19% VAT (€42.02 net). Content, form of contact and scope are agreed in advance. No fixed session length is automatically included; broader support is quoted individually.
What form does academic coaching take?+
Explain the support and form of discussion you need in your enquiry. Priorities, format, scope and timing are agreed in advance; a particular meeting format or fixed number of sessions is not automatically included. Your portal can bring together the agreed documents and project messages.
When is coaching more useful than editing?+
Coaching suits unresolved decisions about a topic, research question, outline or approach. Editing starts with a draft you have already written and addresses agreed language or structural priorities. If both seem relevant, describe your stage of work first so the separate elements can be clearly defined.
